1. Personal data and privacy policy

The various sites published by Weyou Group do not carry out any personal registration for the simple consultation of their pages. Weyou Group is required, as data controller, to process certain personal data collected through its various websites or within the framework of participation in its events.

It intends to keep them in compliance with privacy and current regulations and strives to implement all operational and technical measures aimed at protecting their integrity and confidentiality.

How are these personal data collected and what are they?

This data is collected in different ways, based on the information provided or obtained:

  • Via pre-registration forms/requests for information or online accreditation.
  • By creating a personalized Weyou Connect account.
  • Via the registration terminals at the shows.
  • As part of a contract for participation in the show.
  • Through external sources, including partners and/or publicly available sources.

This data may cover, depending on the case, the following categories:

  • Information relating to your identity and professional contact details , such as your last name, first name, company name, professional postal and email address, telephone number, socio-professional category, etc.
  • Your account credentials , such as your email address and password.
  • Other information relating to your profile and your professional interests, the workforce of your company, your projects or even your photography.

For what purposes is this information processed?

The information thus transmitted is subject to computer processing intended, depending on the case, to:

  • Respond to your request for information and/or accreditation, manage your registration for the show or the Top Décideur program and send you the documents and practical information which will, if necessary, facilitate your visit (access badge, practical information on the event and its participants, program, conference schedules and planned interventions, etc.)
  • Execute the contractual relationship established as part of your participation in the show. In this context, certain data may be transmitted to our service providers for the sole purpose of managing your participation, your transport and your accommodation.
  • Schedule your business meetings.

Unless you object , Weyou Group is also required to:

  • Send you invitations, commercial offers and information concerning the news and planning of its other exhibitions as well as the program, themes and speakers of the planned conferences.
  • Send you invitations, commercial offers and information concerning third parties and in particular its partners, selected according to your professional interests.

With your consent, materialized by the scanning of your access badge containing data relating to your professional identity, this information may be transferred to certain trusted third parties. So scanning your badge with an exhibitor, via the Weyou Analytics application, or at the entrance to conferences, allows the exhibitor or speaker to receive this information and complete it if necessary, in order to continue the exchanges initiated and send you new commercial proposals.

Weyou Group is finally required to establish statistics on the attendance of its shows in order to be able to respond as closely as possible to the interests of participants over the editions.

How long is this data kept?

This data is only kept by Weyou Group for the legal periods in force relating to each of the purposes for which it was collected.

How to exercise your rights?

In accordance with law n°78-17 Informatique et Libertés of January 6, 1978, you have a right of access, rectification, portability and deletion of your data as well as a right of opposition and limitation to the processing of information which concerns you.

To exercise your rights, you can:

  • Connect to your personal online space and your opposition and unsubscribe space via this dedicated link, also present on the forms and in our emails.
  • Check the dedicated boxes on the collection forms if applicable.

2. Intellectual property

Weyou Group owns the general structure of its websites as well as their domain names.

The sites as a whole and each of the elements that compose them (texts, images, tree structure, software, animations, banners, brands, logos, and any other document) are the exclusive property of Weyou Group .

The use, reproduction or representation of all or part of this site, by any means whatsoever, is therefore strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of Weyou Group .

The same applies to any database that appears on all of its sites, of which it is the producer and sole owner.

As such and in accordance with the provisions of articles L.341-1 et seq. of the Intellectual Property Code Weyou Group article 323-3 of the Penal Code, the extraction, reuse, storage, reproduction, conservation and direct or indirect transmission, permanently or temporarily by any means and in any form whatsoever, of all or qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the content of sites and databases who would be there.

The extraction and repeated and systematic reuse of qualitatively and quantitatively non-substantial parts of sites and the content of the databases found there are also prohibited without the agreement of Weyou Group when these operations clearly exceed the conditions of normal use of said bases.

In accordance with articles 226-16 et seq. of the Penal Code, the use for commercial prospecting purposes or public dissemination of data fraudulently collected from Weyou Group sites is prohibited.
